2008 Doing Business in Mexico Delegation Posted: 10/17/2008 9:29:14
William D. Harazin, as an Adjunct Associate Professor in the School of Textiles of North Carolina State University, led a Delegation of students traveling to Guadalajara, Mexico in early March, 2008 with the “Doing Business in Mexico” Program sponsored by the North Carolina Department of Commerce International Trade Division, North Carolina State University School of Textiles and Wake Technical Community College Small Business Center. The experience exposed the Delegation to Mexico, its culture, and the global textile business opportunities. Traveling with a Business Delegation from North Carolina (the Export Ready Program), the Delegation attended the ANTAD International Expo and obtained a first hand look at global business in action. In addition to the Expo, the Delegation met with international trade specialists, United States’ Consulate personnel, other business and governmental leaders, and the American and Mexican Chambers of Commerce.
